2007/ 2008 CRESCENDO I.G.T (13.5% Alc/Vol)
It gives out a warmth that evokes the subtle sensory 'crescendo' Tuscan sunsets

GRAPE VARIETY: single vineyard selection SANGIOVESE based meritage with few % of SHIRAZ and MERLOT.

COLOR: Dry red tending to deep ruby red with ageing

AGEING: aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels

REFINEMENT: 6-12 months in bottle

AGEING CAPABILITY: 5 to 10 years.  Bottled 9 months earlier than Corpo Notte, Crescendo is now approaching its maturity !

BOUQUET / FLAVOR: A broad, ethereal and compound smell with hints of cherry with a pleasant scent of sweet spices and black plums . Palate showed fennel seeds, white pepper and dried rosemary mixed with plum and cherries. Silky tannins, yet firm with balanced acidity and excellent length.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°C (64°F). It is advised to decant it at least 1 hr before drinking.

FOOD COMBINATION: It is an excellent red wine (even for summer!) and pairs well with pasta, roasted poultry & meat as well as grilled fish.

2007 CORPO NOTTE I.G.T. (14.5% Alc/Vol)
Full-bodied with a persistent mouthfill, it evokes the sensual pleasure of a Tuscan summer night.

GRAPE VARIETY: single vineyard selection SUPERTUSCAN meritage SANGIOVESE, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, SHIRAZ, MERLOT.

COLOR: A deep ruby red, tending to an elegant garnet red with ageing

AGEING: aged for 20 months in French oak barriques

REFINEMENT: 12 months in bottle. Yet the wine is released only when it is deemed ready.

AGEING CAPABILITY: 10 to 15 years. This wine is seriously structured with plenty of longevity. Requires 5 years to mature but it is also quite enjoyable young.

BOUQUET / FLAVOR: Soils of clay, marl and limestone coupled with extended aging produce a saturated, near-garnet red, full-bodied with layers of fruit, fine tannins and a caressing texture. Sweet berry and plum and a powerful aroma of crush black fruits with a hint of oak barrels and ripe fruit on the nose. A broad, ethereal and compound smell with hints of violet and a pleasant hint of wild berries and vanilla. Extremely enticing, opulent and elegant on the palate, with a warm velvety taste and a long lasting finish. A very noble wine!

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°C (64°F). It is advised to decant it at least 1.5 hr before drinking.

FOOD COMBINATION: Best with aged cheeses, red and roast meat, noble game. A big wine of meditation.
